When we went to France last in 2009 and I would type into a local computer AOL.com or Yahoo.com I seem to remember that I would get a Frence site. How can we get to the US sites from France -- Maybe I just did something wrong.

I run into this issue often. Most international web companies have an option somewhere on the page to change either the default location, the language, or both. You just have to scan the page to find it.

When you're there, click on "autres sites" and then "International". You can click on the United States from there.
