Weather in Oct. for Paris and in St. Remy and sourrounding area

I am leaving for St. Remy n Oct 6th. How is the weather during this time? I understand it's usually warm with cool nights (like an Indian Summer in Washington, DC). Afterwards, I travel to Paris -- what's that weather like? I've been there in March, Sept. and mid-April.

I think you generally have it right, but be prepared for rain (especially in Paris) and variations from the norm. All in all, though, a delightful time to travel.
