During the month of April, we will be traveling to the following cities.....Rome, Venice, Milan, Tuscany, Lucerne, Paris, London, Nottingham, Amsterdam, Madrid, Seville and Barcelona. Can anyone share weather conditions during that time of the year? Thank you,
Lilly
Hi Lilly. If you go to weatherbase.com, it has this info. Enjoy your trip!
Most tour books will list the "average" temps. We were in London in March several years ago and had 6 inches of snow, April in Paris was chilly, just like the US, be prepared for variable.
I agree with Gail, April can have the most variable weather and average temperatures only tell a small part of the story. And your trip will cover a wide range of climates. So be prepared for warm sunny days (2O C) as well as for cooler rainy days (single digits C). And who knows, you might even see some snow flurries ... As the German saying goes "April, April, der macht, was er will"
Thanks Bob, Gail and Beatrix for the much needed information. I can't wait to tour Europe for the first time = ) Take care.

Lilly - Weather questions aside, this seems like a whirlwind tour. While 30 days seems like a long time, you have outlined 11 cities and a 9000 square mile area (Tuscany) in 6 countries. Getting between them all doesn't seem like it would leave alot of time to experience the weather.
Hi Ron, we are taking two tours and visting with family and friends, we hope it all works out LOL..
