Way to Support Devour Tours

I hope this is OK per the RS guidelines.

On our now cancelled Europe trip, one of the things we had planned when in Madrid was a "foodie" tour with an outfit called Devour Tours. DT operate in a number of European cities such as Rome, London, Lisbon, Paris and others. Anyhoo, they readily refunded the money we had prepaid for our tour and noted that they had a digital cookbook for sale--€19. It's written by their various staff members and is, at present, their only source of income. I bought one to help support them during this difficult time. If any of y'all out there are foodies and want to help them out, here's a link to buy the book: https://devourtours.com/cookbook/

Stay safe, all!

We found James Blick and his "Spain Revealed" YouTube channel in preparation for our trip to Spain in early March. We did not do a Devour tour but we did a flamenco tour with his lovely wife, Yoly - highly recommend.

You can still follow them in quarantine as they describe their days in Madrid lockdown and he's cooking Spanish favorites. He's no chef, but he loves food and it's fun to watch a real person (with plenty of personality) cook tortilla Espanola, gambones, patatas bravas... Clicks on YouTube count as support, too!

We went on a "Devour Tours" food tour in Madrid as well. It was one of the highlights of our time in Madrid. I would gladly take another of their tours some day.

Thanks Willy for the link. I have taken Devour tours in Madrid, Sevilla, and Granada and it was one of the best experiences. I have downloaded the cookbook and am going to try some of the recipes tomorrow.

Good on ya, SandyO. It's not got a lot of recipes, but they're all regional "specialties". The commentary is also good--videos, even!

I found James and Yoly's youtube channel before our October Andalucia trip and took Devour's Triana tour in Sevilla. Would take a tour with the company anywhere they have them. Bought the cookbook (saw on his channel) and happy with the recipes.

Devour Tours is now hosting Live Zoom Experiences. https://devourtours.com/tours/
These experiences are hosted by local guides from their homes in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, and England.
Another great way to support them!
