I've been having trouble finding a good waterproof messenger bag. I would like a messenger bag I can use as a day pack for water, snacks, book, and other small necessities. I want it big enough that I can carry a guide, map, wallet, sunglasses... but small enough that I will be able to keep it with me in Museums.
Any suggestions.
Thanks!
Yup…I use the Timbuk2 Metro Messenger. Check out their website: http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/home
Check out Bagallini. They have several styles of bags that you might like. I have their messenger bag. It is a great size (actually smaller than my "home" purse- lol) for a day bag and well organized. Outside pocket for water bottle. and they say it is made of water resistant fabric.
Tom Bihn Cafe Bag....they come in three sizes.
Here's a story of one caught in the rain:
Large Cafe Bag in the Rain
I love my Timbuk2 messenger bag. It is durable and very secure. It has the strongest, most loudest velcro closure with clips to double secure it. Just the sound of the velcro alone is a good replacement for a security alarm. No hands are gonna get in my bag. I have a classic messenger, size small. I believe they go a size smaller. It is waterproof as well. I found mine at a marshall's/TJ maxx store for $25, they are quite expensive new, but if you google shop, you can find one cheap.
