We are traveling mid Nov and will be there about 15 days. My husband will work days but I still want to see the sights. Any ideas for things to do and see in the area? We will have access to a car. Also Vienna for a weekend. Should we travel by rail or car? Sights you would see there?

You mentioned Vienna, but if this is the Wasserburg am Inn I'm thinking of (east of Munich), you're much closer to Munich (40 miles one way) than Vienna (240 miles). There is plenty to do, in a weekend, in both cities.

Yes, that is the Wasserburg I'm speaking of. We will have a day and half each place. Do you have recommendations of things we shouldn't miss?
