I rented two cars from Auto Europa in June of this year thinking that it was Auto Europe. The website is identical to the Auto Europe website except for one has Europe and the other has Europa. Today I saw where a charge for a "multe-fine" has been charged to my account. Auto Europa does not have a 1-800 number, if you call the one on the website you get Auto Europe. I am trying to reach the Italian number but so far have not had any luck. By the way, we were in the countryside except for two excursions to Pisa and Milan, but we parked far out on the outskirts and rode the bus/train into the city, so I don't think that it is for driving in a ZTL. bottom line, next time I will make sure that I rent from Auto Europe or Europcar.
