Has anyone had trouble using this card to withdraw cash from ATMs in France or England? WAMU says the card will work worldwide, but the back of the card only has the Star and Mastercard logos. Thanks!

Those logos should be enough. Most of the larger banks in France will be part of at least the MC network.
We have not had any trubles w the ATMs there,altho our debit card is a Visa

I have used my WAMU card in Europe before with no problems. I would suggest letting them know when and where you will be traveling so they don't put a hold on the card.

Just also be aware of the fees WAMU charges you to use a non WAMU ATM. International ATMs are not free. This also applies to using your ATM as debit.

When I was in Europe in 2006, I had a WAMU Visa Debit care.....now I've noticed they changed it to a debit Master Card without me requesting it.
