I hope it's erupting in July when I go there. From what I've read they're not worried about it shutting down travel.
The last eruption on the peninsula lasted for 30 years, so it is certainly possible that you might see it in July. Unless it starts erupting ash and cancels all flights…

editing to add: Ohhh, just saw a helicopter hovering around it!
The helicopter was probably transporting scientists, there are quite a lot of scientists there. Apart from geologists, there is also a team of archeologists doing an emergency excavation of a pre-christian burial site before it gets covered in lava.
