My parents picked up a phone in April in Germany that I am planning on using in France and Germany in December. I was hoping to renew the minutes on-line before I headed over and then just roaming in France before getting to Germany. Will the SIM card stay good if the minutes aren't renewed between April and December or does some time need to be purchased between now and then to keep the number active?
I am a long-time Verizon contract user, so I know nothing about SIM cards and pre-paid phones! Thanks!
