Visiting Ukraine in two weeks

I am spending five days in Kiev and four days in Lviv in mid-August 2016. Can anyone recommend specific English-speaking interpreters / private citizen, tour guides or drivers I could contact? I do not know Cyrillic or Ukrainian and probably will not get a chance to purchase the Lonely Planet Ukrainian Phrasebook, as I am currently in Prague.

I would very much like to travel from Warsaw to Lviv to Krakow overland next summer so looking for a trip report from both of you.

We are flying from the states to Kyiv, then a few days later down to Odessa, then on to Budapest so not touching on anything remotely close to Lviv.

We spent several days in Lviv in June 2016 and loved it. We did not have an interpreter and got along well. Admittedly most people do not speak English, however, several people who did stopped to help us as we were searching our map. One accompanied us to purchase train tickets and actually helped us with the entire transaction. Ukraine is amazingly inexpensive. We stayed at the Swiss Hotel. The desk clerks speak english. Get a map and advice from them. Lviv is a wonderful city full of coffee shops and good restaurants. Recommend a restaurant called Trout Bread and Wine.
