Any logistical suggestions regarding visiting Peles Castle? We can only visit the castle on a Sunday since it is closed on Monday and Tuesday when we are in Brasov doing other sightseeing. We are going to consider staying overnight in Sinaia after leaving Bucharest on our way to Brasov and leave our luggage at the hotel, see the castle and get back on a train to Brasov.
You will most likely get a lot more information on the TA Romanian forum than I can give you. I’ve been to Peles Castle twice in the last year. It’s very worthwhile to see and the setting is beautiful. Be sure to see all three floors. Plan at least 2-3 hrs if you want to take your time and see all that it offers. Get there as early as possible in the morning. Usually lots of people visiting it and probably even busier on the weekend. Try to buy your entrance tickets on line in advance. Otherwise the ticket booth is on top of the hill before you walk down to the castle. We drove so I can’t give you any info about train schedule times etc. I believe the walk from the station to the castle is fairly long so you may want to use Bolt. You’ll be doing some hill walking in the area. Enjoy your visit. Romania is a wonderful country to visit!
I've found, on GetYourGuide, various day tours that leave from Brasov to visit Peles and other sights.
This one doesn't say how long it spends in each place:

I've had good luck messaging the tour providers through the GYG app to ask for more details. You can also find the actual tour operator and then find their website, which may provide more details or more offerings.
If you are needing help with all of the detail, there is nothing wrong with hiring a guide or a travel planner to work out the details for you. Much more reliable than us. Ive used these guys in the past: https://covinnus.com/, but my trip to Romania last year which included Peles castle (again) I just hired a guide with a car off Showaround.com.
For us, we found the easiest way to do this was a private guided tour with a driver from Brasov. We started our trip in Bucharest, got the train to Brasov, and then one of our days in Brasov we had a driver who took us on a day trip to Rasnov, Bran Castle, and Sinaia for Peles Castle. It all worked out well and it wasn't expensive.
