We do not want to take our car into Rome. I think we read where Rick says to park in Tivoli and take the train into Rome. Has anyone ever done this or do you have another suggestion. Thank you, Connie

People drive in Rome all the time, even if RS is afraid to do it. There are no black holes. But, it would be inconvenient to find parking if you drove it all around town -- use the metro.
Explore the cost of two short term rentals vs one of a longer term, then make your decision.

And expensive, because Rome has a daytime ZTL. Those fines would soon mount up!
