After completing my six month schooling in Germany on a study visa can I now flip over to a "traveller's" visa for the 90 days?
Are you a young Canadian? Then you might also qualify for a "working holiday" visa that is not difficult to apply for and will give you more flexibility to travel (throughout the EU) and work for up to a year (in Germany).
Actually 18 and already over in Germany studying. Once my study visa expires this April 30 can I step out for a day and then carry on for 90 days for my travels?
Shouldn't you be asking the Immigration people in Germany about this, and not strangers on a travel board?
After you graduate you will get all kinds of credit card offers so my answer is Yes.
You really should inquire with whichever office is handling your study abroad program there at university in Germany or your home institution back in ON...there's typically a center for international experience or whatever. People here can probably Google some answer for you, but you can do that yourself as well. I would check with someone who knows for sure and handles study abroad programs at university for a living, and/or also contact German immigration as Norma said. A lot of people here will either guess or give you info from the internet. Good luck! Not sure how credit card offers will let you stay in Germany, but okay...whatever.
