We're meeting at One World Cafe, 533 South Main Street in Moscow, Idaho at 10:30.
This month I have two questions: where will we park due to the Farmers' Market and who's coming?
I'll be there and park wherever I can find a place, maybe in the Gritman lot. I don't mind walking a few blocks if necessary. Thanks.
The last time I made it I wound up parking on the street near Bruneel. There are some trees there so there is shade! I won't know until Sat. AM as to whether I can leave Dad or not, so will just have to play it by ear. I bought those ultra light packing cubes yesterday at AAA in Lewiston, so will bring them along for people to look at. So far, the only downside I can see is that the zipper does not go all the way around 3 sides so they don't open up flat. If the zipper were longer, they would just be heavier, though. Pam
I thought I might bring some of my favorite travel goodies as well. There was a discussion earlier about the RS picnic set and how heavy it is; I really like it and find it well-worth the space and weight.
Thanks for the parking idea, Monte.
Will Monte be doing any demonstrations this month?
@ Andrea, Monte hasn't mentioned any demonstrations that I'm aware of but we can always hope someone will do some table dancing. We do have an agenda this time though: we are currently making a list of all the Helpline regulars who won't be at our Moscow meeting so we can talk about them. I must say I'm most disappointed that I can't get to Atlanta for the RoninRome meeting!
I'll have afew things.
Rog has offered to sit with Dad, so I will be there. I think Laurie is coming too.
and Leslie from Lewiston is coming too! Yay! It's such a shame though, Hedy has to miss out....she's in Croatia, kicking up her heels!
She will have to do a trip report next time or demonstrate new Croatian folk dances. I realized why Rog was so eager to babysit Dad. It's the British Open this weekend and he will be glued to the TV!
Hopefully Rog will also keep one eye on your dad, Pam!
Turns out Doug can't make the meeting but both Margy and Larry will be there. Fantastico!
Well, Doug noticed I was getting out my RS backpack and accessories and decided he just can't stay away! He's coming!
Fun meeting today! 2 new folks and 7 of us who had been before. Darcy and Sharon managed to restrain Monte. Darcy brought her RS cubes packed (really, Moscow is not an overnight from Lewiston!) so we could see how much they hold. We all found parking in spite of the Farmer's Market traffic.
It was a great meeting! Yes, my packing cubes were packed for Moscow, just in case my visa arrived!
