Louis CK is a comedian you may recognize. a clip of an interview with Conan Obrien where he talks about new technology and travel. The part about half way in has to do with air travel and in my opinion is hilarious. I hope you enjoy it and learn a little perspective on traveling by air. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8r1CZTLk-Gk Until I figure how to post a link you'll have to copy and paste it to your browser.
hihihihi...Give it a? second! It's going to space! lol
Louis CK rocks. This is a GREAT routine!
Posting a link with BBCode is sometimes easy. Enclose the "tag" in square brackets, the ones below { and } (I'll use those brackets here so I won't end up with a link instead of something you can see.) Type {url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8r1CZTLk-Gk} link name{/url}, but replace { }with those other symbols. It's important that you include the http:// or the interpreter will look for the url in the current website, not on the web. I said "sometimes easy" because the BBCode interpreter has trouble with some symbols in the URLs, causing the link sometimes not to appear. For a full explanation of the Code, click on the "Format your posts" link under "Rick Steves Community".
That was really funny! Thanks.
Never heard of Louis CK before now, and he's great! This was really good! Thanks for posting it =)
Too funny and all too true!
Have been watching Louis CK for a long time. Truly a funny guy! Thanks for posting the link, Richard.
Great fun!... and sooooo true.
Thank you! Some well needed perspective. With flying standby for 10 years, I'm always appreciative of just having a seat on a plane and never take that for granted. The last time (and, trust me, that will be the last time EVER) we flew standby domestic with the kids in the summer, after 6 hours of being bumped, we finally got boarding passes on a flight that ended up being delayed. Again, we were just tickled to have seats. But one woman was constantly complaining about the delay. She finally turned to me and asked "how long have you guys been waiting?", to which I answered "8 hours. With a 5 year old and a 1 year old." She stopped complaining. For a while, anyway.
