Bruno Bozzetto is a leading animator in Italy and produced this hilarious cartoon.. I think it should be mandatory viewing for anyone considering a trip to Italy or to Europe. Showing this at the first meeting with your tour guide would eliminate a lot of questions!
Now that was hilarious. Watched it while sitting out on my back deck, and I'm sure the neighbors are wondering what I was laughing so hard at.
Also the one after it, Europe vs. USA. A little close to home, maybe? ;-)
Oh, Philip! Thank you so much for posting this. It's priceless and hysterically funny!! Sending to a friend who is contemplating a tour to Italy next year.
I watched the second video as well. Got a kick out the American coffee drinkers!
For all of you who enjoyed these shorts , this full length animated film by Bruno Bozzetto is a real treat - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegro_Non_Troppo , and here is the film , at turns , touching , hilarious , and enigmatic , it is a masterpiece . My favorite sections are the first one with music by Claude Debussy , " Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun " touches on the issues of aging and loneliness , and the Jean Sibelius ' " Valse Triste " ( Sad Waltz " , the cat recalling the past . I hope those of you who watch this enjoy it . - https://youtu.be/qfVJVwG4CKw
Very funny Philip, thanks. I especially like the one about the ice in the drinks - very appropriate considering that recent thread on this forum.
Definitely have personal experience with the 'signs' segment
Thank you Philip. I'[m going to forward it to all my friends!
Could you post the link to the Europe vs. America also? I don't see it.
The Italian bus hit home the hardest :-)
Thinking it over, I begin to understand why most Israelis feel right at home in Italy !
