Is it possible to get my VAT refund AFTER I have left the EU? I was on a trip to Italy where I made all my purchases and I have the proper paperwork. We connected through Paris (CDG) and the plane from Rome was delayed, causing us to run through CDG to barely make the flight back to NYC (we were the last 2 people to board). The flight delay left us with no time to stop by the booth in CDG to get the refund. Is there anything we can do or are we stuck?
