Booked a hotel in Paris for October but am now thinking that I might be overpaying (only spending 5 nights and then on to a Med cruise). Thinking about renting an apartment from vacationinparis.com. Has anyone rented an apartment from this agency?

I did! I won't actually be staying in it until July, but so far they have been wonderful. It's been very easy and they were very helpful whenever I have had questions. If you wanted to look up reviews on specific apartments, a lot of them are on tripadvisor.com.

We rented from VIP 3-9 June and loved it! Everyone was so helpful and everything was so well organized. I liked that the apartment was paid for up front and that I had the key before even leaving the US.
The apartment was quite nice and the kitchen even had things like vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar. Soaps, tp, paper towels were all available--although we purchased more & actually left more than what was there when we arrived. The washing machine & dryer are in a separate room on the same floor, available only for us.
There is a local contact person but we never had to call because we didn't have any problems at all.
We had #155 on rue Chevert. It isn't on the street-side but looks over the trees in the "courtyard". We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to rent from VIP again.

We just returned from our trip, and rented #79 from Vacation In Paris. Highly reccomend them...apartment was fantastic, and they were great to deal with! We will definitely be using them again!

We have booked an apartment for late september with VIP, and so far the expereince has been great! I've gotten my emails returned same day, and they use PayPal, so I don't have to worry about wire transfers. If you are looking to book, consider sooner rather than later for the most options. We inquired last Friday for one bedrooms in the 7em and lower and there were only 7 options (6 now) still available. Can't wait for our stay!

I used VinP last September. Excellent experience. They were easy to deal with and the apartment was just as advertised. I would use them again.

I just paid (today) our deposit on ID 18 for our trip next July. Very easy to work with so far and we can't wait to get there.
