Typically I rent cars directly from the car rental agency, but I found a 3rd party aggregator called Rentalcars.com and found an excellent rate for a 16-day estate car hire from Munich with unlimited miles. Can anyone relate their personal experience using this agency for their car hire needs? I still have several weeks to shop and a free 48-hour cancellation policy built into my rental confirmation. I've used Rentalcars.com on several occasions, never had an issue with them. Rates have always been good although I find Ryanair car rental to often be cheaper and just as good. Many of the rentals have ended up being with Hertz and the customer service has been no different than if I'd rented with Hertz direct.
If you download the app to your phone you'll have all the booking details to hand easily when you reach the rental desk plus you can see how many upcoming rentals you have with them which helps to avoid the costly mistake of double booking a car (as I experienced recently).
