US Cell phone charging in Europe

I will be travelling in Nurenberg,Munich,Paris and London in two weeks. I have a two year old cell phone and would like to avoid buying a converter just to charge it.
Are there cell phone charger machines in European airports/rail stations? I saw one recently in a US airport. Will they charge a US cell phone run on 110v ? Alternatively, will a car charger work in a car in Europe?
Thanks!

Greetings

Most mobile chargers are dual voltage, so all you would need to do is buy a plug adapters (which costs less than $2) for the UK and Germany/France, and you will be set. Stations will sometimes have plugs, but you have to provide the actual charger.

Just check on your existing charger to make sure it is dual voltage (it will say 110/220 or 120/240).

Cindy, first of all, I'm assuming you have at least a dual-band GSM phone with the two Euro frequencies? Also, is the phone currently being used in the U.S., which network is it configured for and if a GSM phone is it unlocked?

I've never seen Cell Phone Chargers in any European Airports or Rail stations.
