Updating everyone on our June 2011 trip to Normandy, Battle of Bulge sites

Our trip to Normandy with Dale was fabulous - Our trip to the Battle of the Bulge sites was a little disappointing as the tour guide gave a general tour and not a personalized tour to show us where our father journeyed as a member of the 9th Armored Division - 19th Battalion-Company A. We want to go back to the Bulge sites next Spring. Does anyone know of a tour guide - maybe a WWII Historian or Enthusiast who could show us where Dad traveled?
Thank you. Maryanne

Henri Mignon gets really good reviews and is a very nice man. We booked him for a tour last year, but he got sick and we ended up touring on our own. He was a child during the battle, which I think would have provided an interesting perspective. He will tailor the tour to your interests. I definitely think it would be a good idea to contact him. http://users.skynet.be/bastogne.battle.bulge.guided.tours/index.htm

Hi Maryanne, we went to the Ardennes in August and found that many of the Bulge sites are on private property, also it was such a large event that things are spread out. We stayed at the Hotel Collin in Bastogne, even tho RS recommends another town for Bulge touring. He is right also about the best Bulge museum being in Luxembourg, BTW.
