I am hoping to travel a bit lighter than usual for an upcoming 8 week trip by doing research on unscented and hypo-allergenic products available in France in advance. I have asked an aquaintance who lives there who advises, "Carrefour - a big chain of super markets where I shop and they have a laundry soap - their own brand - that has no perfum,ensymes or coloring ! also they have " Bio " products that have no perfume." I share this with others, and ask for recommendations for personal grooming products that I can buy in France, such as shampoo, body soap, liquid hand soap and suncreeen that is gentle with no perfume. Recommendations for brand names and stores that carry them (preferably national chain stores) are much appreciated. We will be in Paris, Roanne, rural Provence and cities in the Mediterranean. I know that Europe is ahead of North America in offering non-toxic products, but I want certainty around being able to find them.
