Fred, what news? Are you talking about the helicopter crash?
Our inaugural meeting is Saturday, Feb 17 at the Corner Bakery 3208 N. Sepulveda Unit B in Manhattan Beach. Tim, I think this is slightly closer to you than the Panera in Carson.

Hi,
It was the KCBS commentator mentioning the homeless tents/camps in OC and LA, basically that they have proliferated, he didn't say how this was being alleviated. I wasn't surprised about LA but his mentioning OC did catch my attention. I didn't know how bad it was, maybe all contrary to the myth of OC. Of course, I wasn't in Santa Ana but those camps popping in, say Irvine, Tustin, or Fullerton would be a real surprise to me. Whenever I was there in LA or OC, I followed news constantly on KNS.
