I have a new IPod Touch 32 - I am totally new to the IPod world. I saw a recommendation for TripIt for IPhone on RS, but almost all the reviews (on ITunes Store and RS) are from Iphone users. I'd like to know how it works as an off-line app for the Touch. I know it won't update without WiFi, but once stuff is in it, does it keep the information stored offline for long term or do I have to have WiFi to access it after awhile.

I have TripIt on my Ipod Touch and it works great. Once you use WiFi to upload the information, it stays on your Ipod Touch.
The app that I really like on my Ipod Touch is "Docs To Go". You can use WiFi to store all kinds of docs with that application. I have all of my travel documentation stored on my Ipod as well as notes that I made as a Word doc and then sent to my Ipod.
