This coming Tuesday has been designated Travel Tuesday. Have no idea who is behind this but supposedly there are going to be travel deals all across the board. I say supposedly and I am taking a wait and see attitude.
But I will be looking for travel deals this coming Tuesday.
Maybe some real deals to be had.

Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Travel Tuesday.
All the big stores here do Black Friday sales. This week Black Friday began on Thursday here and continutes through the weekend. They can do that because few have any idea the origination of Black Friday. I have to laugh about it.
I looked up Hopper, interesting ... look at their VIP and Canclelation products.

Today is Small Business Saturday and I believe that American Express began that to encouraging shopping at small businesses .
The first Tuesday after Thanksgiving has long been Giving Tuesday where one is supposed to donate to a worthy non-profit but now we also get to book Travel on Travel Tuesday.
As for the latter, looking is free and who knows, maybe I will get a. good deal.

I thought it was Giving Tuesday. Quite a conundrum: travel or charity. Is there room for both?
Many organizations have donors that provide matching gifts for donations given on giving Tuesday. I think this is not an issue of giving vs travel. I simply assume that most people are similar to myself. I have a budget line for giving and a budget line for traveling. One doesn’t exclude the other.

But now along with Giving Tuesday, we have Travel Tuesday which is new. I think that it only began last year.
