traveling with a CPAP machine

I have used my CPAP in a European hotel. Does anyone know if it is possible to use one on a train? Are there outlets? or would I need a battery?

I have used my CPAP traveling through Europe, and most often just use a 220-110 voltage adapter for power.
Using a CPAP on a train would seldom be needed, as there are just so few overnight trains in Europe now. Most train trips are relatively short tin time--not time for much sleep.
Most people can make it through a period of sleep without the CPAP. So many users rip their headset off their heads in their sleep prior to completion of their sleep.

I just wouldn't worry with using a CPAP while on a train trip.

Hi Donna,

It entirely depends on the rolling stock being used by the train company on the day. Most of the intercity type trains have sockets at each seat these days but with the rest it will depend on the carriages being used on the day. For instance on the regional train I use between my home and Zurich there are days I can plug in my devices and recharge and some days not.
