We will be traveling Oct 5 from Barcelona leaving Lisbon Nov 10/2011. We would be interested in a travel route to enable us to make best use of our time in Spain/Portugal

You are going to have to give us SOMETHING to go on! We have no idea what cities you might like to see, what your interests are, what your budget is, how you intend to travel between locations, or anything else. We are interested in possibly traveling from Barcelona to the Pyrenees for a few days for some moderate hiking then possibly ending up at Bilboa and spending a few days in the Basque region before heading to Valladolid, Madrid then on to Granada, Cordoba and Seville. We are looking for hikes along the way but not too interested in museums and formal tourist activities. We like to just walk around and explore places. We would like to spent some time in the Algarve area before heading to Lisbon. If time permits we would like to tour in Northern Portugal but are concerned about the weather during late Oct/Nov. We are on a budget and would be looking for B&B,s or lower end hotels provided they are clean. We would be traveling via bus or trail which ever is the most available for the price
