traveling October/November in Europe

Will explore Northern Italy and return to Rome on 10-27. Spend 10-27/28 in Perugia. After that we have 20 days, 7 of which we want to dedicate to Rome. Would like to visit Prague and Budapest via train. Is it feasible/doable in the time we have? Thank you for any feedback we you can send.
