staying 6-nights 5-days starting in dublin. want to see dublin for 1 or 2 days then rent a car and see other areas. any suggetions for my time available?

Tim, there have been numerous posts lately concerning similar trips. You might want to scroll down this section of the board to find those topics, or use the search box in the upper right to find information. You might also want to go to the library and look at some guidebooks to give you some idea of what there is to see. Once you narrow down where you think you might like to go, we can better help you plan your trip so that it makes sense and fits your time contraints.

Start with the hop on hop off bus around Dublin. That will insure that you see the highlights. I would recommend the Musical pub crawl. I only had two days so I also took the tour to Malahide castle as well. If you have a car, I would drive to it. There are lots of little towns along the way
