Traveling Europe and Routing

I will be traveling for three weeks in late September and would like to visit these places... Florence, Cinque Terre, Portofino, Milan, Zermatt, Venice, Murano, and northern Croatia (Krka, Split)
I was wondering what the cheapest route would be and is 4 days enough time in Croatia to do national park and blue caves? Sorry, one more question, where would be the best place to stay in Croatia to do the park and blue cave??? Traveling from the US

Thank you

This list will fill 3 weeks. I wouldn’t be adding Croatia.

Arrive Geneva
Zermatt
Milan
Portofino
Cinque Terre
Florence
Venice & Murano
Depart Venice

Before you get too attached to seeing Croatia for just a few days on this trip, investigate transit connections between Italy and Croatia. You'll see that, even though these two countries are "right next to each other," the connections are poor, taking much of a day; even flights usually require a connection.

Similarly, Zermatt is in a valley at a dead end, so it takes time to get to from Italy. In three weeks you can do it, but will you be crushed if your 1-2 days in Zermatt end up having bad weather? Good visibility cannot be guaranteed, and without this, your trip to Zermatt will be an expensive disappointment.

Ok, so how about ... fly into Florence, then go to Switzerland, then to Slovenia and out of Venice???

Has anyone done the underground kayak trip in Slovenia and is October a good time???
