Since the Graffiti Wall layout has been mentioned, I would like to see the subjects for The West broken down into the separate countries, ie: Austria/Benelux; France; Germany; Portugal/Spain; and Switzerland.
If I am only interested in one of those countries it would be easier (for me) to look at just the one country rather than sorting through all the comments on other countries. Just a thought. But, thanks to the webmasters for putting this whole site together. All of us traveler's really appreciate the opportunity to hear others comments. Keep up the good work.

I would like to suggest that posters use more descriptive titles. I have seen titles like "Europe" and then the message is about train connections from Paris to Milan. Might as well title it "stuff".
That would help me sift thru subjects that are useful for me to learn about or subjects I have something to offer to.

I agree, Amy. It would also help you find a particular thread later to check for newer answers, too. I often find myself struggling to remember just what some thread was called, because it didn't have anything to do with the subject.

Yeah, it does seem like "West" includes too much area, particularly when Italy alone has its own board.
Also, let's subdivide the "Transportation" board into Public Transportation (rail and bus), Flying, and Auto. The Wall used to have a board just for 'rail travel tips', but the sheriff got mad because people kept asking questions on it and took it off.

I think Transportation should stay the way it is. If not, those wanting to know whether it's better/faster/cheaper/easier to take public transportation or rent a car would be double posting all over the place.
