I am going to Spain for 8 days and during that time I would like to go to Lisbon for a day or two. Would like to know the best way to get to Lisbon from Cordoba and the must see sites in Lisbon that can be accomplished in a short time. Also where to stay something reasonable. Thanks.

The only reasonable way to get to Lisbon on such short timeframe is to fly - probably from Sevilla. There are busses from Sevilla but its a long trip. There is also an overnight train from Madrid. The bottom line is that Lisbon is not very well connected to most of Spain and you may find a two day excursion not worth it.
