On this board, some posts have referred to travel gatherings that take place in Colorado. Does anyone know of a group that has meetings to discuss travel, in the Phoenix area? I have tried to start one myself through Meetup, with not much success, and been to a couple of groups which meet regularly but are more for luxury travelers. I'm not a backpacker, and not into luxury, (in fact the Rick Steves philosophy is perfect for me).
I would also like advice on how to start a successful travel group....
