My daughter and I are hoping to travel from Paris to Dubrovnik at the very end of March into the first week in April. I have tried to find out how long the train would be and is it direct, etc. Also, I have seen mentions of direct flights from Paris to Dubrovnik but can't seem to find any information. I need to compare prices vs. time for getting from Paris to Dubrovnik. Any help will be appreciated.
There is no train link to Dubrovnik. You would need to take a bus north to Split or Zagreb to catch a train, then proceed from there. One good connection would be the overnight train from Zagreb to Munich, then change to the train to Paris. You can research lots of options at the Deutsche Bahn (German train) website. Very easy!
If you want to fly, which would be easier and faster, Transavia flies direct Dubrovnik to Paris Orly. Croatia Airlines flies direct t00. Check their website for fares.
For flight information, look at SkyScanner. Check both one-way and round trip flights; if the round trip is cheaper, you can just use the first portion. Given how long it would take on land, and the need to change modes of transit several times, I would only fly this route, unless I were planning to make stops along the way.
Sorry--I read this backwards. I imagine the connections are similar in reverse!
