I am looking at a tour that would take place during Ramadan. We would visit Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro. Has anyone traveled in these countries during the this celebration. My tour notes state some interruptions may occur. I am more than willing to adjust eating in public our of respect for people fasting it is transportation and sites I am concerned about.

Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro - no Ramadan. Bosnia - there are muslims there but comparing to middle-eastern ones they are quite lukewarm and not too many of them observe Ramadan. So no problem for you.
Things go on much as normal here during Ramadan, and we have a large religious Muslim population. Even though many fast during the day, shops, tourist sights and restaurants are open. The only time tourism is affected is at the end of Ramadan, during the 3-day Eid al-Fitr festival.
Thanks for the information.
We were in Egypt one year during Ramadan and as far as tourist locations were concerned, we'd never have known it was Ramadan, and that includes on a four day cruise on the Nile.
