Define best !!! Generally the best way is taxi or hired driver and car.

Joan, My question is the same as Frank mentioned. Are you looking for the least expensive way or the quickest way? Which area of Paris is the Hotel located in? There are several transportation methods listed in the France or Paris Guidebooks. It would be easier to offer more specific suggestions if you could clarify your question.

As a family we are arriving in Paris from all different directions to meet up so I emailed the hotel we are staying at and they sent me directions from all airports and train stations, even told us what bus to take as well. Try that! made it very easy.
