Has anyone attempted to make the connection between the two airports in Paris - CDG to ORY? How did you make the connection? We arrive in Paris at the CDG at 8:35 and need tocatch a flight leaving ORY at 12:40. Is this unrealistic? How long does it take to go between the two airports in Paris? Can we pass through customs, travel to ORY, and catch the flight leaving at 12:40?
I've taken the Air France bus, but I wasn't in a hurry and spent the time on the bus sleeping. More direct and faster is the RER B, which you take from CDG to Anthony. At Anthony, you take OrlyVal, a shuttle train that takes you to the airport. You need to reconfirm all of this on the Paris RATP website, where you can get exact instructions, travel time, and price. You should be able to make it on time.
You need to allow up to one hour to clear immigration/passport control and retrieve your luggage. If you take the RER B from CDG to Antony and the OrlyVal from there to Orly, it will take one hour to get to Antony and ten minutes to get to Orly. You'll find detailed instructions on this page on the Aeroports de Paris site: http://tinyurl.com/nzj2pe.
