My sister and I will be traveling overnight via train from the Czech Republic to Italy in August. On the bahn.de website, the most practical sequence of trains was Cesky Krumlov to Cesky Budejovice, then CB to Linz, then overnight Linz to Venice, and then highspeed Venice to Florence.
My question is, would the only necessary tickets to get ahead of time be the Linz --> Venice overnight tickets? Would the other more regional legs of the journey be fine to get once we are there? Or should we perhaps book the high speed Venice --> Florence leg, considering the summer travel surge. Thanks in advance!
