Netflix now has a slowTV selection of an unedited train ride from Bergen to Oslo. The camera is front mounted on the train. It is about 7 hours long. Great backdrop for packing, with some music on. There is no narration, just the occasional announcements regarding which station is coming up.
That sounds fantastic! I'll try it out while I'm cooking dinner tonight! :)
Thanks for the tip! I have watched half of this on YouTube while walking on the treadmill and am fascinated. I also love watching the slowtv tram ride around Prague.
We rode from Oslo toward Bergen on the train for about 4 1/2 hours a year ago. We transferred to a mountain train that took us down into the fjords. We caught a fast boat that took us into Bergen past the fjords.
The mountain train was our favorite part of the tour, as going down into the fjord the scenery was breathtaking. We were a little disappointed that the scenery on the boat ride into Bergen wasn't that drop dead beautiful.
