Train Pass

I have questions on the train passes. I assume you pay standard fare rate.

I have question on the rail passes..

We are Flying into the Prague Spending 3 nights Then taking the Bus to Munich Spending 2 night.
Then we want to take the train Fussen spend the night, then take the train between Fussen and Lucerne Switzerland for a night.
Then lacerne to lauterbrunnen for 3 nights. Lauterburren to rome.
I have tried reading the rail pass site. I am not sure if it worth buying rail pass or just buying all point to point in this case?

Tickets for the bus from Prague to Munich will probably be less when purchased in advance than with a rail pass. Those tickets come with a seat reservation. If you have a pass, you will almost certainly need to purchase a seat reservation in advance.

There are no reservations for the regional trains between Munich and Füssen. Two people can go from Munich to Füssen for 28€ with a Bayern-Ticket.

With advance purchase tickets, you can get Europa-Spezial Schweiz tickets from German Rail for Füssen to Luzern for as low as 39€/adult.

Do the math.

Yes, Savings Fare is the overall header on the DB site, and you may see other marketing names applied as you go through to complete the ticket purchase. If you're ready to commit to dates and times for your trips into and out from Germany, then those are good deals.

Similarly, Trenitalia.com sells advance discounts for tickets within Italy, such as Milan-Rome. Don't book an international ticket through Trenitalia, since their international tickets usually must be picked up in an Italian station, not a Swiss station, and not Ticketless or print at home.
