Train from Salzburg to Luzern-best option for a scenic trip?

We plan to take the train from Salzburg to Luzern. I understand that the mountain scenery is spectacular if I go through Innsbruck. In order to do that, it looks like I need to schedule separate tickets from Salzburg to Innsbruck, from Innsbruck to Zurich, then on to Luzern. Which is fine. But, I also see tickets that go through Buchs (does not stop in Zurich) or Sargans. Does anyone know if either of these routes are as scenic?

Thanks!

The train from Salzburg to Zürich goes through Innsbruck, Buchs and Sargans. It is all the same, fairly scenic route. There is no need to change trains in Innsbruck or book a separate ticket.
For simplicity, I would just book a ticket to Zürich (if you plan to have a Swiss Travel Pass or a Half Fare Card, use the SBB Swiss rail website to take possible discounts into account, otherwise use its Austrian counterpart ÖBB), and change there for Luzern. You might save a few minutes by changing trains twice (probably in Sargans and Thalwil) but that's not worth it in my opinion.
