Train from Munich to Strasbourg - then to Paris

Hi...
We are leaving Munich by the train and staying 1 night in Strasbourg on our way to Paris. I am booking online at captaintrain.com and they are asking me for an identification document and a bunch of questions I don't have an answer to. It doesn't even have link on where to get this. It won't let me continue to purchase without it. I'm guessing its because I'm crossing the border, because I booked from Paris to Nice without a problem.

Any ideas for me please?

I don't have experience of this exact problem. There is definitely no requirement to show documents when crossing the French border from other Schengen countries. Normally your "*identification document" would be your passport, but there are no border checks.
But, if you book a print-at-home ticket on German Railways you normally have to prove you are the person who bought the ticket by showing the credit card you used to pay for it, along with the printout when the ticket is checked on the train. There are other options, like showing a German railcard, which you presumably do not have. Is this what they are asking?

Just what are the "bunch of questions I don't have an answer to"?

jk,

As Chris mentioned, could you elaborate on the "bunch of questions" you were asked? What date is this trip taking place?

There should be no issue with crossing the border, as both Germany and France are Schengen countries. Just to clarify, did you register on the Captain Train website before trying to buy tickets? I'd suggest sending an E-mail to C.T. as I've found their customer service to be excellent.
