Train from Berlin-Tegel Airport to Dresden

There's no train service from Tegel, per their website: "There is no direct train or underground connection with the airport, but bus line 128 goes to the nearest metro station at the Kurt Schumacher Platz (line U6)." You need the S-bahn ring train to Sudkreuz station. The trains to Dresden from Berlin stop there. The S-Bahn Jungfernheide station is one stop from the Schumacher station. On the Berlin metro map, it looks like there is also a bus from Tegel to the Beusselstrasse S-bahn station, which would be one less transfer. Or you could take a taxi from Tegel to the S-bahn. Not sure which of the 2 stations is closer. It seems to be about 5 km. from the aiirport to the S-bahn.

Chani is right, here is no rail service from Tegel. However accoring to the German Rail website, there is a 20 min bus from Tegel to the Berlin Hbf, from which you can take an EC to Dresden.
