Towns near Moscow ID travel group Sat. Oct 19

Is there anyone on the Helpline who loves to talk about travel and lives in our neck of the woods? If you're one of us, we'd love to see you in the "back room" at One World Cafe, 533 South Main Street in Moscow at 10:30 on Saturday, Oct 19. Darcy is traveling this weekend, so she gave me the OK to post. You will have to work hard to shut me up about the amazing time I had in Wales and Bath! See you there!

I thought it was "the sticks", not the "neck of the woods". I'm glad you're home, and happy.

This is going to get real silly by next Saturday. Just look at those Sacramento people.

Laughing...yes Monte. We will also let you and Sharon talk about Curacao too. I saw in another thread that you picked this for your destination. Might be a small group this week, but that has never stopped us before.

I have a travel report! Woohoo! We went to Spokane for the weekend. Doesn't crossing state lines count as a trip outside the country?

Well, the fact that I know it was a cultural activity and not just shopping makes Spokaloo count even though you can probably see Washington from your front yard, lol!

Riding around Spokane in a limo is cultural? Oh wait, there was more after that!

I'll bring the Red Dress photo that Doug referred to at the last meeting. I can also bring the previously shown multi device charging system if anyone is interested. Yes S & M will be there.

That would be great, Monte, if you'd bring the red dress photo and your multi-charging device.

I can't believe you posted at 4AM. You beat me this morning! Will Monte be wearing the red dress? I will need a large One World Coffee to go along with that. It's going to be such a beautiful Inland Northwest weekend...hoping some of the folks who post here from N. Idaho and Spokane will consider coming as well.

Darcy, I can't believe you're going to let Monte talk about us that way!!

Andrea, I'll try to defend you--and Eileen too--but I have only so much energy. You'll just have to come to our meeting this month! (If I can get away with it, I'll tell them that it's NOT you wearing the blond wig with the red dress on.)

Well, so far it looks like there will only be 10 of us but haven't heard from Roger, Cinda, Laurie or Karen. Where are you?

Having talked to the other usual suspects from Troy...I believe I will be the only representative. Farmer's Market will still be set up on Main St altho the number of vendors is much curtailed from the peak in mid-summer. Last Sat was the last week for our favorite Egyptian food vendor so will be going in to koshari withdrawal.

Turns out Terry and Dan can't make it after all (that Terry, she's such a Diva!) so the 8 of us will just have to hold the RS fort! See you there!

As always, it was a great meeting although some of "us" were missing...you know who you are! We talking about having our 16 November meeting in Moscow as usual then going down to North Lewiston for a wine tasting! Coco said she'll provide the crackers and cheese. How many of you would like to do a wine tasting?

Any excuse to rub elbows with this fine group of travelers. Yes, depending on the weather, and our availability.

Had a wonderful time today! I am thinking I am good for the wine tasting, will need to see closer to the time. Do you have to make reservations? Need a specific number? Enjoyed getting excited by Rena and Mike's excitement on their trip next week!
