Does anyone know of any reputable companies that offer European tours (1-3 weeks ideally) for foodies -- or at least a strong focus on food, wine, tastings, cooking demonstrations, smaller towns/villages, etc?

Hi Justin: Check out Andrew Villone at Savor the Experience Tours. Several of his recent tours are on his Facebook page. We did a food and wine tour in Italy and Slovenia last fall and it was excellent.
Cookbook author Diane Kochilas sponsors food and wine tours of Greece:

She also hosts a cooking school on the island of Ikaria.
I haven’t done any of this personally, but maybe worth checking out?
The websites for Travel & Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler magazines will have that sort of trip
Agree with dccreeder02 about Andrew Villone. Some friends and I are doing his Harvest tour this year. He gets excellent reviews. You can also check out his tours on adventureswithsarah.net
We did the Harvest tour with Andrew's company last fall. What a wonderful tour for foodies and wine lovers. Our guide was Miha, and he was quite special. I see that this year's Harvest Tour is sold out, so I would sign up early for next year. There is a maximum of 12 on these tours.
Take a look at Sechrist Travel. A friend went to Italy last fall with them for a food/wine tour and loved it.
I believe the recommended Andrew Villone also does tours in conjunction with Adventures with Sarah Tours (she's a former RS guide). Sarah's company also offers other food-oriented tours.
I did this food tour of Northern Spain five years ago and loved every minute. One of the other tour members continued on the Portugal tour and gave it high marks as well.

Intrepid isn't the ritziest of travel companies, but I was very happy with the quality of the guides (main and local), food, stops, etc. It's very well-established and has a good reputation (in fact, I think I first heard about it on these boards).

I’ve been on two day tours with Culinary Backstreets and they water great! I got an email from them about a multi day food tour to Georgia that sounds amazing! The dates don’t work for me but I would recommend checking them out.
Thank you, everyone! Lots of good ideas. I especially love Sarah's tours, but there are definitely lots of contenders in here.
@Catherine, yes, the Harvest tour looks like my favorite out of all of them. Glad they do it every year. Did they provide transportation to/from the airports?
