Interesting list. But who is Peter Greenberg and who proclaimed him America's Travel Expert? http://www.petergreenberg.com/2012/09/20/top-6-cultural-attractions-opening-in-europe-fall-2012/
He's made a name for himself as a travel correspondent in the US national media, although I think he keeps a consideralbly lower public profile than the proprietor of this website. Yes, I agree. Interesting list, and nothing too obvious, like for example, Oktoberfest. That wouldn't take an "expert" to identify...
This is a list of attractions that are in cities that are major tourist destination but do feel considerably more off-the-beaten-path than what I usually see in such lists. Finally some NEW destinations I've never heard about. Like the Museum of Innocence in Istanbul. I've read Orhan Pamuk and it's quite intriguing to actually find this Turkish author mentioned in a travel article.
Thanks for sharing, Thomas. I agree, interesting list.
I agree - I have no idea who this Peter Greenberg is, but the list is cool! I love Klimt, Ferraris, cable cars, and Swedish food, so hey! Good to know!
