Don't you just hate it when you find something on the internet and you wonder if it is too good to be true?!?! Just booked a room for about 35 euro a night on the Costa Brava in Lloret de Mar Spain through OH-Barcelona.com It's a 3 star hotel?? I know it is shoulder season but it must be a room in the basement or SOMETHING!
Do you believe in cheap rooms found on the net???
Hi Destiny,
yes, you can find cheap and decent rooms on the net. Last Christmas I booked a room near Marbella in Southern Spain for about 35 euros a night, half board for 2 of us. It's a 3 star hotel and was lovely; clean, had all the amenities including air con/heating, and the food was OK, too. We liked it so much we are going back in June to the same place, same deal.
Interestingly, I had to book it on the net to get that price; when I asked what they would charge at the front desk, it was much more expensive.
I just make sure to check the hotel out on tripadvisor.com before I book anywhere. That will give you a good idea about people's experiences with the hotel.
