Hi We will be traveling by train from Rome to Naples then on a bus to Sorrento. I found the train that will make this trip quick however, should I book the 6 of us prior to the day or is that necessary. We want to go first class. Is reserving online going to save me money?

Reserving on line in advance will get you some discount and it could be significant. But the tickets are non-changable or not easily changed and lock you into a specific day and time. There is little advantage for that short ride to first class. Since you are at the train station, walk downstairs and take the train to Sorrento.
