@ Allan
Please accept my apologies for getting Mr E’s post locked. I thought I was asking about the application of the law rather than the process of making law. Stupid me. I am responsible for what happened and accept full responsibility.
My professional core values include equity and justice for those who are discriminated and oppressed and exposing malpractice. Baron (title not first name) Denning is one of my UK jurist role models along with current barrister’s Amal Clooney and my countryman Jeffrey Robinson KC.
Did not in the first instant think my questions were political.
@ Moderator’s
I acknowledge your absolute right of discretion to delete anything I post. I endorse and support it whole heartedly. Should you allow me to continue to post, I will try hard to avoid transgression.
I have watched and enjoyed the Monday night broadcast you recommended. I share a profession with Craig, as evidence from my email domain which I used to register. Endorse what Rick and Craig espoused.
The political thing is difficult for me. My country has a clear delineation between politics and the law. On turning 18yrs we must enroll on the electoral rolls. Every 3 years or so we all must lodge a ballot. What we put or do not on the ballot is our business. There are some acceptable excuses for not lodging. Death is one.
ABBA sang “The winner takes it all.” So, after the results are known we get on with sport, of which enjoying life is a subset. Politics does not rule our life. I acknowledge that in USA politics is life. A hard concept for me to understand.
I beseech readers to please accept my apology and leave it at that.
Allan took me sometime to pen this. Also, public national holiday on Thursday which morphed into a long weekend. Mid-summer, 30c and the ocean which surrounds this continent begs “come and play”.
Regards Ron
